Neil Young was good. Pearl Jam, who I don't really aspire to as a musical force, were a powerful backing band. So, this was a classically loud, violent, pushed, crushed concert in a large venue. I was impressed with Pearl Jam and Mr. Young gave it everything he had. The concert was being filmed, so perhaps this helped. At the very least it probably inspired them to burn and smash the crap out of a number of electric guitars when the time came to say goodnight (including a particularly nice vintage hollow body electric). It was Dr J and me. We left having truly got our money's worth.
